MARKETING MANAGER
Job Description
Paciulli, Simmons & Associates is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Marketing Manager in its corporate office in Fairfax in support of marketing and business development for both public and private sector clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategize, develop and manage business development efforts
- Develop and execute marketing plan
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and deliver marketing initiatives
- Coordination/preparation of proposals, qualification packages, presentations, government forms, responses to RFP’s leads and submissions
- Design presentations and prepare staff for interviews, coordinate with consultants and client
- Design graphic pages, covers, presentations, and visual material for proposals and marketing materials
- Assist in team building and coordinating with other consultants on proposal efforts, assignments, and schedules
- Work with project managers and other team members to coordinate preparation and rehearsals for short listed interviews and presentations
- Proposal/lead tracking and participate in debriefings
- Create, maintain, and update project information in firm-wide database, including descriptions, experience/client lists, resumes, data sheets and general boiler plate
- Build and maintain relationships with potential teaming partners
- Attend business development seminars and industry networking events to establish and maintain client/partner relationships
- Write press releases and coordinate with publications for circulation
- Prepare newsletters, announcements, and maintain website and intranet
- Manage client maintenance program
- Manage the information on exemplary projects for use in project descriptions, statement of qualifications, proposals, and other uses
- Design and develop company collateral including service sheets, newsletters, press releases and direct mailings
- Lead marketing meetings
- Participate in professional and industry organizations
- Project photography
- Attend industry organization functions and events to promote the firm, as well as to establish networking relationships with consultants.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. or B.A. in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism or equivalent degree and experience
- 4 years minimum marketing experience in the A/E/C industry
- SMPS relationships
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Federal government proposal process with SF330 submissions (proven award success a must)
- Proficient with computer software/hardware and management of databases
- Must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, well-organized
- Ability to organize vast amounts of information quickly and accurately
- Good graphic design skills
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to strict, short deadlines.
