Plan Review Consulting Services

Prince William County
In an effort to reduce the County’s backlog and help streamline the permit approval process, we assisted in the review and approval of site plans, subdivision plans, preliminary plans as well as other plan submissions. Over the four-year contract period, we reviewed over 450 plans, ranging from 2 pages to 365 pages. These documents included control forms, sketch plans, unit price lists, plats, booklets, floodplain studies, erosion and sediment control plans, and minor site plans in accordance with County codes, ordinances, and policies. PSA has also played a vital role in the quality control process and detailed construction plan review.

Town of Leesburg
Currently providing on-call services to the Town for detailed engineering review services. These review services have included reviewing plans such as site plans, subdivision plans, preliminary plans, floodplain studies, rough grading plans, and other special land development plans. In-house firm staff expertise and extensive technical knowledge has enabled them to review all aspects of the submitted plans including water model analyses, constructability issues, and maintenance issues. To date, the firm has reviewed plans for facilities such as medical office buildings, mixed-use development, transportation improvements, and residential development. Additionally, PSA has developed and in-house tracking system to track every assignment from initial contract to completion.
