Phase I Cultural Resources Survey for the Festival Lakes Development

Conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey for the proposed 105-acre Festival Lakes housing development east of Loudoun County, Virginia. This phase I survey was designed to identify and record cultural resources that are located in and/or near the area of potential effect.  Services included performing background research, visual inspection, and excavating 1,327 shovel test probes and two auger tests within the area of potential effect.
